Will it fit under the PS5 cover?
The heatsink version of the Seagate FireCuda 530 is 10.4mm tall and fits the PS5 expansion bay, on the PS5, PS5 Slim and PS5 Pro. Sony's limit is 11.25mm total thickness and 25mm width (see Sony's M.2 SSD requirements).
The bare version works too, but Sony requires a heat dissipation structure, so pair it with a low-profile heatsink. Listings on this page are tagged "Fits PS5" when they are the heatsink version of this model. For more on the rule see the 11.25mm height guide.
