From Sony's M.2 SSD requirements. A bare M.2 drive is about 2.2 to 3.5mm thick, which leaves roughly 7mm for a top heatsink and its pad.
Before you buy
Many JONSBO coolers are tall finned designs for open PC cases. For a PS5, check the stated height against 11.25mm for drive and heatsink together.
Inclusion here rests on what each listing says about itself; we have not measured any of these coolers. Look for a stated assembled height on the listing, and pass over any that do not give one.
Height in the table is the figure printed in the listing's own title or feature list. A cooler bought separately sits on top of the drive, so the limit that applies to it is Sony's 8.0mm above the board: 8.0mm or under earns Fits PS5, 8.0mm to 11.25mm is flagged Check total height with your drive, and more than 11.25mm is Too tall. Remember that the drive's chips and the pad share that 8.0mm with the cooler. A heatsink right at the limit is only safe if its stated height already counts them.
