Gigabyte Aorus Gen4 7000s and PS5 compatibility
Gigabyte gives 80.5 x 23.5 x 11.25mm and states the drive meets the PS5's performance and dimension requirements. Because that height is the limit itself, with no margin, we tag its listings Check height. The 1TB model writes at 5,500 MB/s. The Prem. version has a tall heat-pipe cooler and is a different product.
Will it fit under the PS5 cover?
Sony's limit is 11.25mm total thickness and 25mm width (see Sony's M.2 SSD requirements). We could not verify where the Gigabyte Aorus Gen4 7000s's own heatsink version falls against that, which is why it is tagged "Check height".
Compare the listing's stated height with the limit before ordering, or sidestep the question with a bare drive and a cooler from the 11.25mm height guide.
